The sirens, enigmatic and destructive beings from beyond comprehension, have invaded our world, plunging humanity into a desperate struggle for survival. Armed with ingenuity and sheer willpower, humanity fights back with fleets of advanced warships designed to stand as the final bulwark against annihilation.

Among these vessels, the UNS Vanguard is a legend. A symbol of hope, the ship is hailed as one of humanity's most advanced and powerful creations, renowned for its triumphs in countless battles. Its presence alone inspires courage, and its loss is unthinkable.

But even legends can fall.

In the midst of a ferocious engagement against a siren fleet, the Vanguard is overwhelmed. Despite the crew's heroism and the ship's cutting-edge defenses, it is ultimately sunk, vanishing beneath the waves in a fiery explosion. The loss sends shockwaves through humanity-a devastating blow not only to the war effort but to morale itself.

Yet, this is not the end of Vanguard's story.

Somewhere far from the battlefield, in a world unlike anything the ship-or its creators-could have imagined, the essence of the Vanguard awakens. No longer a towering warship of steel and circuitry, it now exists as a human being. Confusion and questions abound: Who or what caused this transformation? Why has the Vanguard been given a new form and life in this strange new world?

As the Vanguard adjusts to its human body, memories of battles and the weight of its lost crew linger like ghosts. Driven by a sense of duty and the remnants of its mission, it begins a journey to uncover the truth behind this second chance.

But the Vanguard is not alone. Forces tied to its past-and to the sirens themselves-may have followed it into this new world. Its awakening may change not only its own fate but the destiny of the worlds it now straddles.

The war isn't over. It has only just begun.

"Not one step back!" -Admiral of the Fleet Bernard York Lancaster, 2102 Humanity has endured countless calamities in the 21st century, and the transition was only more chaotic. The invasion of the alien species commonly known as "Sirens" [Sirena Alienus] has ushered in a new age; an age of great sacrifice and equally grand valor. While the invasion of the Sirens has united the world in a shared goal ― one of banishing these aliens who do not belong ― and prevented the unfurling of the Third world war, it destroyed countless cities, destroyed international communication, and killed and starved millions. The Sovereign-class of fast battleships were designed as flagships from the beginning. The design and construction of the lead ship of the class ― UNS Sovereign ― was finished incredibly fast; laid down on the 3rd of March 2099 and commissioned 1st of November 2100. After three years of dutiful service and countless battles, the Sovereign finally met its match and was left with only one option ― self-destruction. And with only a mere press of a button, the pride of humanity and the Human-Siren war were ended ― Sirens forced to retreat to wherever they came from and the Sovereign erased from the surface of the Earth, only remembered through models, photos, and fond memories. But its service has not come to an end, merely continued... ...in a familiar, yet distant world. How will he influence the fate of this unknown world? How will the organization known as Azur Lane react? What will he find? ― Friends? Enemies? Comrades? Or perhaps, something more... Azur Lane: The Last Task Force

53 parts Complete Mature

Ever since that fateful day, when the long bloody war between the Sirens and Azur Lane ended, with Azur Lane being the victor. The Sirens remained quiet for many decades. Until recently, we learned that they achieved something no one thought was possible. They created a timeline teleportation device. Commonly known as a "time jumper". A device that allows the impossible to become possible, time travel. We believe they intend to go back in time to the middle of the war they lost, taking advanced tech along with them, to change the future of humanity in their favor. So we at Eagle Union have been working hard to counter this new issue. After working relentlessly, struggling to create a piece of technology many generations ahead of our current time. We have finally created our own time jumper, capable of simultaneously sending multiple warships back in time. We will be sending one carrier, one cruiser, and three destroyers to complete this sensitive task. The task of preventing the Sirens from erasing the existence of humanity. Those warships will be: USS Gerald R. Ford, USS Ticonderoga, USS John Paul Jones, USS Arleigh Burke, and USS Sampson. (This is my first book ever so don't be surprised if the writing is a little bad...or worse)
