Amelia Willson is the perfect girl. She has the school’s students at the tip of her fingers, but she doesn’t want it to be that way. She’s fed up with all the people looking up to her and sick of all the boys following her around. She just wants to be left alone, but she can’t.

Austin Hendricks is the school’s heartthrob and a first class player. He just had to be the person to find out that she isn’t who she pretends to be. He blackmails her and she has to pretend to be his girlfriend, because he’s also fed up with his followers, or so he says.

What is his real motive and what happens when Amelia starts having feelings for him? Will their story have a happy ending, or will she end up like all his other flings if she tells him her feelings?

Not everyone gets their prince charming, now do they? Life is not a fairytale. Let's get real now, shall we? Amelia Waston, she is 17 years old and is like every other teenage girl that loves reading sappy love stories, likes watching chick-flicks and has her own fantasies of her 'happy ending'. Ethan Turner, he is 18 years old and is the practical definition of a 'high school bad boy', he is a player, the captain of the football team, he doesn't give a shit about rules, he has the brains (well kind of) and looks and girls drool over his 6'4 tall frame Both of their lives are not perfect, both have their own issues and most of all both are polar opposites. What happens after they bump into each other? Well, a kick and a few words here and there. But what happens when Amelia has to live with Ethan? Do they both put their insecurities and issues aside and decide on being friends? Or do they ignore each other? Join a journey of hatred, love, betrayal and a bunch of other feelings. ~~~ "Before I met Ethan I thought love was a happily ever after. But it's not. I learnt so many more things with him, I learnt the true meaning of love, a meaning that can't be described in words. You're scared of loving or choosing the wrong person. You may not admit it, but you're scared of not getting your happily ever after, so you're pushing it away. But it isn't a happy ending. It's a not-so happy ending. This book needs editing, the first chapters aren't very good, but the story gets better as you read on! There was only one thing that Amelia White needed to do. Be invisible and never draw the attention of five boys. She has been avoiding them ever since she knew who they were, and she's not planning to be part of the game those boys play. At least, that was the plan until her feet changed it for her. Bumping into Caine Williams is not exactly the way you stay unnoticeable for those boys. She detests an emotionless, narcissistic, and selfish asshole. He's the most attractive boy she's ever seen, but he has a terrible personality. Everything just seems like a joke to him. Hopefully, this journey of heated conversations and stupid fights turns out to be positive, and there's no need for any more hearts to shatter. Nevertheless, bad boys are unpredictable and dangerous, and there will be no insurance for broken hearts and unfixable relationships. But there's no need for insurance if the hate Amelia feels towards him is stronger than the tiny piece of possible love she feels in her heart, right? Caine will definitely regret opening the chase on her when he finds out it's not worth it. At least, that was what Amelia thought. Bumping into Caine Williams was certainly not the plan. That's the only thing that's for sure. Amelia knows that she can say goodbye to the plan of staying invisible, thanks to her clumsiness, and she'll have to say hello to his world with trouble and problems. You didn't think he would let her be, now would you? ©JosephineFlorence, All rights reserved
