To Warm Frozen Fingers // A Short Story Collection by MidnightBeast1098

I like to write. As you may be able to tell. I haven't been very good at writing lately. As you may also have been able to tell. That's why I've decided to write a short story collection. The stories won't interlink, some may vary wildly and you might even wonder if they were written by the same person (the answer is yes). Overall, I'm aiming to write 23 stories, which was one per day for 23 days but I failed at that (*seethes* college work...) so now I'm just aiming to finish it before winter is over! The stories won't be very long - I'm only allowed to write for 10 minutes per story, just to get me going again (and literally warm my fingers, I get really really cold fingers for some reason) and the most I've ever written in that time is around 500 words. Christmas isn't the same for you as it was when you were a child. Not as magical, very anticlimactic. You long to get back the Christmas magic you had as a kid-the joy of childhood-and have been trying your best to. Unexpectedly, Santa (North) knocks on your door and offers to help you get your Christmas wonder back, as he does with chosen adults every year, by letting you help deliver Christmas this holiday season. You accept the offer. But as you get into Christmas preparation, you discover that delivering Christmas and getting your wonder back is going to be much harder than you thought. (This is a romance-free reader-insert.) *I also upload this story on Quotev, DeviantArt, and ArchiveofOurOwn under the same username. *This story has 14 chapters, and I will be uploading them all before Christmas. I will upload seven today (December 23rd CST) and seven tomorrow (December 24th CST), posting about one per hour, unless other responsibilities come up and I have to take a break and upload at a later time that day. If it becomes late enough, I may post multiple chapters at once. I will do this until all the according day's chapters are posted. *Merry Christmas!

One sentence can change everything. Furthermore one sentence can determine your role. Friend? Or stranger? May made a mistake in her 2nd year of middle school. She accidentally told Drew something she shouldn't have. And then she lied to him, causing him to change into the man he is now. They are now in highshcool. But they are farther apart than the Sun and Earth. Their paths haven't crossed since then...and it seems like, they will never cross again. But some people just wouldn't let it end there. So what now? {completed and currently under construction for grammar mistakes/errors and need of revising and editing. Still alright to read tho ;)}
