September 11, 2001 began as an ordinary, late-summer day. As the sun rose, fair weather and blue skies prevailed over much of the country and thousands of commercial airliners prepared for flight. But, in less than two hours' time, this seemingly routine day was transformed when 19 terrorists boarded and hijacked four commercial airplanes to attack America. Nearly 3,000 people were killed when the hijacked planes were flown into the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon near Washington, DC, and when United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in the Pennsylvania countryside outside of Shanksville, PA. Flight 93 did not arrive at the hijackers' intended target - the Nation's Capital - because of the selfless and courageous actions of the 40 passenger and crew members on board. "We're going to do something," passenger Tom Burnett told his wife that morning, the last words she ever heard him speak. They did. This is their story. A virus is was what caused our world to break, what caused the good to become the bad. Kids were being hunted down and captured for this gift that was given to them by that virus. It's been seven years. Parents tried to hide them, but they got killed and took the gifted. No child was safe, from five year olds to basically eighteen. It's the apocalypse for us. You can't trust adults. We don't know why they want from us, but I'm willing to do anything to protect my her. Some gifts are stronger than others, some are weaker than others, some are out of their own control. We don't know why the military wants us but, their not getting us. I'll avenge my mom and dad, they'll rest in peace. I'll protect anyone that needs protecting, I'll avenge every live that was lost.

Healing abilities have gone down throughout the years causing the government to create a special program to find young children with powerful healing abilities. This program was also meant for kids with expectation power ability as well. The program was still under work and with the lack of funding, not the best maintain program causing abuse and torture. The public eye was not aware of this. Maria and Mark had gotten a letter from the program promising their son a great future with his powerful healing abilities and blood manipulation powers. They agreed and signed him up at the age of five to join this program. After a month of the program, half of the kids had gone missing including Mason Pines. All the parents were notified as soon as it happened and they were told that they were looking for them. After weeks of searching also all of them were found expect for Mason. Years Later, Mabel and her childhood friends William and Bill now attend one of the top hero schools in Gravity falls. Bill was working as a part time hero since his internship required field work so he could graduate. For an undercover mission, Bill was sent to an underground club to find a flash drive that was stolen from a villain. He received aid from a random boy that would change his life forever.
