25 years after we made first contact, the world's not a very different place. It's no surprise considering the event was marked with the wrong kinda fireworks. For most of us, that's where the story ends.
For a few kooks, though, it was the beginning of their obsession. Over the years, they spread rumors and covered every tabloid with the exploits of 'the sole survivor'. It was always the same: they overheard from some person who was told by their third cousin, twice removed about some strange boy. He could climb walls, run fast, lift cars, and open pickle jars on the first try.
Of course, eyewitnesses were always the only proof. Of course.
Then, one day, the world got the first shot of this so-called 'Martian'. It wasn't clear, Bigfoot takes better selfies, but the blurred figure in the center was the only thing out of focus. A single cell on a high-speed film used to capture hummingbirds in flight, and, suddenly, we weren't alone anymore.
Thing is, that's nice and all, but that doesn't change the fact I got work in the morning.
Season 4 of The Virus Within
Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again.
When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun. Secrets never remain hidden, and zombie apocalypses never make life easy.
