The Sensers are an elite group of people able to read the memory shifts that have been popping up across the Earth for 100s of years, pulling people into memories at random. Lin, one of the main characters, has an inconsistent talent for reading memory shifts. Meanwhile, his best friend and housemate Lin, is a Seer, a maligned group of people who claim to see aliens called The Visitors and can also read memory shifts. To Warm Frozen Fingers // A Short Story Collection by MidnightBeast1098

I like to write. As you may be able to tell. I haven't been very good at writing lately. As you may also have been able to tell. That's why I've decided to write a short story collection. The stories won't interlink, some may vary wildly and you might even wonder if they were written by the same person (the answer is yes). Overall, I'm aiming to write 23 stories, which was one per day for 23 days but I failed at that (*seethes* college work...) so now I'm just aiming to finish it before winter is over! The stories won't be very long - I'm only allowed to write for 10 minutes per story, just to get me going again (and literally warm my fingers, I get really really cold fingers for some reason) and the most I've ever written in that time is around 500 words. Trapped in my own head by WildImaginations16

She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. It will contain steampunk, historical fiction, urban fantasy, science fiction, fantasy, slipstream, sci-fantasy, horror, paranormal, general oddity and anything else that happens to fall out of my ears as ideas formulate into stories.
