The Marrying Man

Thomas Miller hasn't had great luck with women. His first wife left him while pregnant with another man's babies, and his second was killed in a tragic car accident. Since then, afraid of having his heart broken, he has let himself be used as a professional husband in short marriages of convenience to women who need insurance and a place to stay for a bit. But now that he's older he wants to try for a real relationship again. Is it too late for love? He just needs to take on one more temporary marriage and then he's hanging up his rings until the real things comes along.

Avery Simmons is the sole survivor from a deadly crash that killed her parents and twin brother. Broken physically and in spirit, she marries Thomas as a last resort until she can get back on her feet again.

Thomas and Avery don't have a regular relationship, they're married before they know much of anything about each other. But in marrying Avery, Thomas gets his whole flipped on its head when all is revealed. But is it for good or bad?
