After coming home to an empty home after a typical boring day of school, Lottie finds a package on the table that transports her to a mysterious jungle. She must find her parents within 24 hours to save their lives as explained to her by a mysterious orb from within the package. Winner of Adventure's "Escape the Wilderness" contest. I may one day actually expand this into a full novel (leaving in the 1000 words I had to cut to make it count) but for all intents and purposes this is a completed work.

His adopted dad, Ron, is a supernatural hunter obsessed with "breaking the curse". After putting Jace through years of torment, will he snap? When Kira & Jace see each other, their worlds kind of collide. They each knew there was something about the other that constantly drew them closer. Follow Kira, Jace and their friends as they try to navigate their supernatural and human lives. Will it tear them apart or bring them closer? Will their connections bring answers and peace or will it bring chaos and destruction? ****"What else did you see?" she shook her head nervously. "What do you mean?" I questioned while furrowing my eyebrows, "I just saw a girl trying to protect herself." She scoffed, pushing her hair behind her ear and shaking her head, "you saw a monster didn't you?" "No," I shook my head sitting back, "I saw you. We turn into pretty similar creatures, why do you think we're in a cave?" I smiled and lit my eyes up yellow and watched her immediately follow mine. I looked at her stomach. "You aren't healing," I sat up. "I know," she said confused, "I don't know what's happening or why. He did something last night that was insane. He- I probably shouldn't talk about it."****
