A single card can determine one's fate.

I suppose, in order to survive this nightmarish game, one must place all of their faith into a single card. It's funny isn't it, the immense cruelty of this game brings to light a new meaning of 'play your cards right'. Maybe if I had paid more attention to my surroundings, I wouldn't be here fighting for my life.

One cannot alter the past, only change the future, so that is what I must do. I must abide by the game and play till I win.
