On a chilling night in an eerie forest, (Y/N) aids her brother Victor in rehearsing his wedding vows, but he repeatedly fumbles over his words. When she takes over, her recital unwittingly summons the Corpse Groom from his grave, instantly marrying her to the undead suitor.

Whisked away to the Land of the Dead, (Y/N) grapples with the macabre reality of living among animated corpses. Heads easily lose their owners and eyes never seem to stay in their sockets, an adjustment (Y/N) seems reluctant to accept.

While (Y/N) has a difficult time coming to terms with her sudden departure from the living world, a murderer threatens her brother and his betrothed, forcing (Y/N) to confront a harrowing choice: sacrifice her existence to save them or forsake their safety to return to the land of the living.
