When Adrien can't handle his home life anymore, he puts a long time plan into action. He runs away, for good. The world quickly notices famous model Adrien Agreste and coincidentally Cat Noir have seemingly vanished off the face of the earth and nation wide investigations begin. But there's only one person who can make the connection between the disappearance of Cat Noir and Adrien Agreste, Luka.

I've always thought Miraculous would be better as a darker more adult show. So, I'm writing this and making it gay bc lukadrien is one of the only good ships left. (I still ship Marichat but damn,,, bi Adrien? Yes please) so this fic will have a darker take on Adriens situation, and will mention abuse, self destructive behaviours and the internal conflict of coming out. This story will be a little sad at times. This story supports Marinette Dupain-Chang slander but not tom and sabine I wish they were my parents irl tbh. Y/N lost his parents in an accident and was sent to his foster parents Tom and Sabine. Marinette is your 'sister' even though you end up hating her. I might give her redemption if wanted.

He listened to what Marinette said about Luka and tried his best to keep his distance, ignoring what was becoming a wonderful friendship. After a series of unfortunate events, he finds himself single and gets a second chance at a real friend from (Y/N), much to Luka's dismay. What happens when this certain blond is thrown into the mix? (or my mom would kill me! lol) there is quite a bit of kisses though! ;) this story is set in the current season 2 of miraculous ladybug, except they are 16 in this instead of 14, for reasons... where adrien is starting to develop a fondness for adorable, clumsy marinette, even though he still loves ladybug as chat noir. marinette has always been crazy about adrien, posters of his face everywhere in her room, she can barely talk to him! but now she has realized that her feelings for chat noir have been changing as well.ladybug's instincts is to push chat noir away in hopes that these feelings will disappear but they only grow. Adrien suddenly grows closer with his shy classmate, marinette and feels that he's betraying ladybug. A miraculous x greatest showman au (and some college au thrown in there). A sad start when Marinette Dupain-Cheng ends up living alone after a tragic accident. She starts a job at the famous Agreste circus to gain money and it is here she becomes face to face with a familiar boy, Adrien Agreste. Although she recognises him he can't return the favour as a mask covers her face, to him she is only known as Ladybug, the famous acrobat. If only he knew his close friend Marinette was the one he was falling for... In this story, there is no magic, Chat Noir and Ladybug, as well as other characters, are in this story but they're not displayed with the miraculous/magic or akumatizations or anything like that. There is some adrienette, ladrien and ladynoir throughout this story but I have included a tiny bit of lukanette and adrigami in there too (sorry if you don't like those ships, I don't either, to be honest, but those relationships add a little more random detail to the storyline so why not). Characters aren't made by me - a fanfiction based on the show Miraculous Ladybug.
