After the battle with Asura, even though his friends and mother figure forgave him, Rouge Gorgon(baisicly Crono with a different name) hasn't forgiven himself. So he asked Lord Death to leave Death City. On his journey he brought into a world filled with Grimm, Semblances, Huntsmen and Huntresses.
