Izuku Midoriya was in love with Hitoshi Shinso.

Deeply in love.

The kind of love where it felt like suffocating and like breathing all at once without any reprieve. The kind of love that made you think about the person you would become once in love only to realize you're already them. The kind of love that was so one-sided that it wouldn't even make the cut for one of those awful romance novels.

But it was no big deal.

It's that time of year again. Bells are ringing. Children singing. Love in the air- no wait that's just Dark Shadow again. The whole class is getting ready to go home for the holidays. Everyone besides Izuku.

He's staying in the dorms.

 Alone.

Between dealing with a complicated relationship with Hitoshi, an ever more complicated relationship with his mother, and the song "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" haunting him day in and out, Izuku's got a lot to juggle this holiday season. 

It truly is the most -magical- time of the year.
