It was All Might who brought upon the motto to always wear a smile and it was none other than Izuku Midoriya who lived that motto. Even in hard times he wore a bright smile, just like his idol and mentor.
He put on a smile that everybody loved, that could get even Aizawa to smile back. To say that Izuku was an sunshine was wrong, he was a living angel.

But who could have ever thought that All mights words would have such an bad impact on the greenhead?...

Maybe always smiling through everything wasn't a good idea at all.

Because even the brightest human being can hide dark secrets and even the sweetest kid will one day...

Update: It has been 2 years since I wrote this. And as now more experienced writer I just want to say that I don't feel proud about this anymore. Honestly, this feels like a crack fic more than a serious story. But with that I don't want to scare you off, but just warn you that the qualitiy isn't the best. (or my standards are just to high?)

Deku got tired of hiding all of his emotions under a mask. Tired of keeping a smile on his face despite being constantly beaten up and ridiculed. He'd kept his mask up for so long that it was fragile as glass. The day it broke was a tragic one for his old "friend" and mother, but became a beautiful opportunity for him. The villains saved him. The villains were his family. The villains helped him put on a different mask. He was getting back at all the people who'd ridiculed him... or was he? Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone. You certainly wouldn't expect the hero-in-training to commit petty theft to provide for the four other poor families that live on his street. But it's all true. He lives in a poor neighborhood where no one has a decent job and there isn't a single hero, not even an underground one. The kids there have only been to the city once or twice, and none of them have parents. One girl does, and was left there willingly. They regularly have to fight off the vermin trying to take their food, and consider a single dollar a fortune. This is Izuku's home. and, if his teacher doesn't find out what's going on soon and save him, it may be his deathbed. [izuku saved bakugo like the cannon] on his way home after saving bakugo he was kidnapped by the league of villains and he went under harsh training and abuse by them. he would be experimented on [that is how he got his quirks] and abused so much to the point he became numb to the pain, he would barely make a sound when he was stabbed or when training with the members of the league, if he was beaten he didn't even react very much. his eyes were dull and face emotionless. on day he went on a mission with the league but they were ambushed by some hero's the league managed to escape but they left izuku to fend them off. when izuku was fighting them the #2 hero endeavour burned his side pretty badly causing him to get captured by underground pro hero eraser head. izuku was given a deal to be the first in nezu's villain rehab witch he hesitantly agreed to. the story starts with izuku being introduced to class 2-A ^extra info^ izuku's quirks- regeneration/green flame/craft/healing emotionless deku dadzawa/ papmic deku??? (read to find out the ship) ^extra info for deku^ deku doesn't really talk to anyone other then, aizawa, nezu, mina, denki and ???. when he is a bit more comfortable but cuz he was a villain no one wants to talk to him. he lives in the dorms but on holidays he lives with his dadzawa and papmic. and he only shows emotion around ???, mina, denki and his dad and papa.
