It may take a bit to finish, but it's still ongoing. One day, Amy asks to go on one of the others's adventures, but when Sonic refuses and she insists, it leads to him snapping on her. After walking out on them, she decides to try to take on one of the badnik infested sectors, since Eggman had started his takeover of Mobius, once again. Eggman had been testing a prototype in the area, to see if it was stronger than his previous failures, when he notices a familiar pink hedgette. After a long fight, he eventually takes her back to his main base, where she is subjected to 4 years of torment and experimentation. (This all takes place on Mobius in an alternate timeline, if they had never went to Earth.) Please keep in mind that I may be slow with posting this, as my irl schedule doesn't usually allow me much time to write or anything, but I will try my best. Tails - Mad Scientist
A desperate Tails captures Shadow to interrogate him for his role in Sonic and Amy's abduction. Hooking up Shadow to a device to try to extract some information, Tails surprises both of them with how far he is willing to go to get what he's after. Is he doing it for Sonic, for science, or for some other reason? I saw this set of drawings by CyanAltar (https://www.instagram.com/p/C47tIB2op97/?img_index=1) of evil, mad scientist Tails with a frightened Shadow attached at his head to a machine. I tried to write a reasonable story for how and why that could have happened. This is what I came up with. I did my best to keep everybody relatively in character, while understanding that the original drawing shows two characters with expressions that are extremely atypical of them, so I had to write them into that position, which was fun. Sonic EXE can't escape Sonics mind again...not yet anyways. Yet, Sonic feels his sanity slipping away again. The truth has to come out. Everyone must know of the past now. If the time comes...they'll have to do the worst. Amy can't stand seeing Sonic in this much pain and agony. She tries her best to calm him, she's the only one that can.
