I slowly spun in a circle, taking
in my surroundings. No amount of research could have prepared me for this.
Buildings that were hundreds of years old seemed to rise up on every corner and
there was the slight scent of fresh bread in the air. For a moment I forgot my
self-consciousness and stared at the city sprawling before me. I was abruptly
shaken out of my thoughts by someone running headlong into me, sending me
careening to the cobblestones.

Remington is 17, fresh out of high
school, and spending her pre-college summer in Paris. Everything is planned out
and in order and life couldn’t get better. Then she is sent falling, literally,
by Kilian, a smart, handsome, and incredibly
rude Parisian native. In the blink of an eye Remington’s immaculately organized
trip is swept away and replaced by a whirlwind of adventure, desire, and
romance.
