Mature
Never in his life did Giovanni imagine that he'd be hit by that arrow he never believed exists. He even swore to the bow's owner, he will not succeed when he comes after him. Cupid must be laughing at him by now because he absolutely got him good at first hit.

But of all people, why does it have to be with someone like her? Yes, he admit. He was deceived, or at least it was what he believed. But why on earth does he still want to be with the girl when she was the one who left him without a word? Who would've thought he'd be able to fall for that kind of scheme in his life? And what literally blows his mind off is that, his heart is still okay with it. Hell! He wants more of it!

Amanda is leisurely taking his sanity away without her trying or even knowing. The thought of it makes him lose his mind even more. So in order to gather his peace of mind back, he'd take whatever makes his mind and soul at peace.

Whatever or whoever it is, he'd take it at all cost before everything he worked hard for gets ruined because of his mental instability.

The question is, will the culprit yield?

It was a complete three-sixty. From the girl casually winding up at the bar who suddenly turned into someone's pretend girlfriend, Nastia Kahlila Quijano never saw it coming. She wasn't supposed to give into someone who were clear and upfront with their boundaries. There was no other choice but to treat him as an off-limit, like a whiskey bottle hanging at the top shelf-seemingly invisible to her eyes. After all, Nika was only returning a favor. Pretend relationships were bound to end anyway. But the thin line between their make-believe and their reality were beginning to blur. They couldn't draw out what's real and what's made up anymore. Then the boundaries began to solidify and the haze was gone. The line became clearer than before, reminding Nika why it existed in the first place. Maybe it was too soon. Maybe, they should leave it at that. After all, how could she lose something she never even had? This is an epistolary story written in taglish. Completed (2022).
