[ Hopeless Romantic #3 ]

All these years I never complained of being a loner because I believe life is giving me a good kind of a favor on earth. I was totally fine until everyone around started falling in love and having theirselves a partner while here I am in a white coat watching them fall and lose their sanity over it. I mean just because everyone has a lover doesn't necessarily mean that I also need to get one right? It's not like a drug lord uses drugs too. Just going on with life as usual but being the hypocrite me, I just found my goddamn self trying to go out with some random men just because I feel bad and sad. I knew that I don't necessarily need to do this but my heart says otherwise. When I started forcing things that are not in my control that was when I started to catch an incurable disease.

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
