And I'm going to protect you like you were my own fucking sister, or even daughter!' He looks straight into my eyes, and it's a shock to see a tear fall down his soft cheek. He's crying for me... 'So, you don't need to be scared anymore. I'll catch you if you fall, Misty.' He tightens his grip around my hand, refusing to break the strong gaze between us. I'm falling... Falling, helplessly and inevitably; completely at the mercy of the forces dragging me down. Having to trust in an entity's blind intentions and praying to God that they won't let me hit the ground. It's an incredible and horrifying feeling. A feeling that I live for.
