The Curse follows the story of two seemingly ordinary families (The Fehrenberg and the Klauzer families), who find their reality shattered by an ancient rivalry with another family (The Strangerhenz family), dating back to the beginning of the Salem witch trials in 1692. As the story unfolds, the two families realize that their ancestors were witches, who accidentally angered the most powerful family of witches of all time - the Strangerhenz family. As a result, now a terrible curse, cast by the ancient witch Feever Strangerhenz, looms over the two families, threatening to annihilate them one by one. Feever's quest for revenge soon begins and no one is safe. Can the two families muster up the courage to stand up to Feever? What exactly is Feever so angry about? Who would emerge victorious out of the battle? And at the end, when all is said and done, would anyone live to tell the tale? The answers to all these questions, and more, would be answered throughout the duration of the novel.
