Going UP and Out

Cadence (Candy) Mence is going to Texas, the one state unlike her hometown New York. While in the country she realizes she misses the city lights and her mom. When Candy finds a new best friend Jenny, who likes going out into the woods on adventures,and teaches her that she was blinded by lights to see the beauty in the country, she rethinks her plan to hop on the next train to New York. Until disaster strikes and Candy's family is forced out by the mayor's daughter Kennedy Gorden. She is forced to leave Jenny and her new home to be controlled by Kennedy and the Mayor.
