A Challenge is a book I finished writing a couple of months back that's currently available on Wattpad in first draft form.
To gain more publishing experience, try out other publishing companies, and maybe have a little fun, I've decided to self-publish A Challenge by the end of this year.  
I have self published before, with my short story Beneath the Willow Tree.  And I'm excited to be publishing another now that I have a little bit more experience.  So come along with me on this journey!  We're going to have so much fun!All Rights Reserved

All I'm saying is I'm no slouch. I'm not brilliant either. But I've got some experience around what can catch an agent, editor, or judge's eye, and I'd like to share that with the community. ☙ - In another lifetime, I used to work for HBO in Development and at ICM (the talent agency) in their writers' department which means I understand how professionals quickly gauge whether or not they'll take a closer look at a work and/or make an offer. This kind of insight can be helpful if you're planning to submit your work or even just want to stand out more here on Wattpad. ☙ - I used to provide critiques for three writers, all of them traditionally published. They seemed to value my insight. Read the RULES, LOGISTICS & PRIZES chapter for guidelines. All entries get a brief assessment of their first chapter, with winners getting more extensive critiques. Sound interesting? Give it a go! 😊

I decided to participate in the She Ra month challenge this year with a oneshot a day. They will probably mostly be hurt/comfort and will probably vary in length massively from entry to entry but why not? It'll be good writing practice and an excuse to write an ungodly amount of She Ra fanfiction

I rolled my eyes and turned around to exit the room. "Where the hell are you going?" He yelled at me. I stopped and turned around to look at him. "I don't want to have any food prepared by you. The day I turned 18 was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. The beginning of my future with my mate but it all turned to hell when I was rejected. He wanted someone powerful, someone equal to him. An accessory that could help him gain power. He rejected me to choose someone more worthy of being his Luna. Couldn't bear the thought of watching him get his perfect life while I rot, I ran. 2 years later I came back better, stronger, and more powerful. I trained and fought and became the beta of the pack he needs help from. This time around I had the upper hand. Now you must be thinking this is a story where he begs for me back and somehow I forgive him. No this isn't the love story between the alpha and I, it is the love story between me and...................well you'll have to wait and see.

My Monster Mate (Book I) by Mbalii

Book One in the My Mate Series - "Elijah," Alexander calls in this terrifying voice. I know it's dangerous but I ignore him, I keep my eyes shut and continue to rock myself back and forth, my hands blocking my ears. I didn't want to look at him, I didn't want to see those black orbs. "Look at me." He demands, his voice depicting his rage. "No," I whisper. "Look at me or I swear, I will do it!" He shouts. I'm not completely sure what 'it' is but I'm sure it has to do with death. Although the poor kid probably wants exactly that. I want that for him right now. It must be a lot less painful than what he's probably going through. Slowly, I reluctantly remove my hands from my ears and pick up my head from my knees, I open my eyes gazing up at him. As soon as I do - I wish I hadn't. Because as soon as I do Alexander snaps his neck. I gasp, tears sliding down my cheeks even faster than they were before. My mate is a monster. "I told you." He laughs, "I am a monster.
