Travelling a playscript back in time 23 years, Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy inform their parents of their perilous attempt to save Cedric Diggory.

I have aimed to keep the majority of the script intact adding only my own changes to fit with my narrative (eg. The original play doesn't have much mention on characters that are important such as the Weasleys so I added background commentary on that to create an amusing or sometimes sad tone amongst the 1995 audience)

Also this is set in the summer between 4th and 5th year - for Sirius Black related reasons - so that's why Luna doesn't feature or why Harry's only just losing the "Ginny is only Ron's sister" perspective. 

That being said, imagine it as a pocket of time outside the series - I can't be bothered explaining what happened after Draco and the golden trio spent that time together so it's not relevant as far as I'm concerned 😅

The original play is the work of J K Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. Whilst it's clear that behind-the-scenes chaos has ensued with the work of JKR, through her own "politically different"  ideas (that I don't agree with) or things that have come out with the FBAWTFT cast, it's not worth denying that Harry Potter has shaped a generation and that it's something that can be positive as well as negative.

Leo overheard his sister ask their mum to tell her some cheesy love story. Not wanting to hear the story their mother was telling, Scorpius and Leo try to ignore it. But fail. They give in and listen to the story as it gets more and more intriguing to them. Hermione and Draco's story takes place at Hogwarts, where it ALL began. A few old friends drop by for a visit. As well as an ex lover. (A/N - Some things are different from this story than in Harry Potter. For example, Albus Potter is older than James Potter in this book. Plus some people are alive who are supposed to be dead in the original. )

She also had her sweet baby, who had been born only a short bit of time after the war. This is my own version of the next generation's first year at Hogwarts. I wrote the majority of this story long before The Cursed Child came out, so it does not follow a similar plot line. Albus, Rose, and Scorpius struggle to be friends as they are sorted into different houses. Draco and Harry meet again, and this time, things are different. Scorpius explains how his mother died. Pansy Parkinson's son always seems to get in the way. Lucius Malfoy has never been more evil. I've worked extremely hard on this story, so I hope you read it. Enjoy!
