18-year-old Rick Notch is a boy from the American city Wingsdale. Together with his immigrated Puerto Rican friend José Carlos, he is one of the best American duos in a video game called Zador. Despite being lazy and not caring too much about school, the teenager strives for competing in the biggest Zador tournament in the US, whereas his mum Elisabeth highly dislikes the game and is disappointed in her son's lifestyle. His younger brother Derick wants to step into the footsteps of his passed away father as a pilot. One morning, the chance to fulfill his dream of participating in the biggest American Zador tournament seems to become reality, but things change for Rick, and he needs to fight for his life and the one of his family in a world of skinny characters and keyboards. Will he survive between Esc and Alt + F4?

Now, we have to see how that will playout, fatherhood, finding a new relationship with his best friend, a whole new chapter of his life, to see how he matures, what could go wrong? You know what, nothing at all will go wrong.
