Another war is fast approaching the kingdom of Mewni, plotted by their sinister queen, Solaria the Monster Carver. Everyone is looking for an escape from their problems. Jester would rather ignore it all and focus on his friendship with the Prince of Dark'niss and the kind Princess of Mewni. But he finds himself caught in the middle of the battle when he realizes he can no longer stand by while Solaria aims to finish her genocide of his people.
There in the middle, between being a hero to his people, a traitor to his friends, and a criminal to the Mewmans, the woman with the sickle waits for him. Before now, he'd only ever seen in painful visions brought on by the magic, but it's with her that his destiny is intertwined.
