September 11th, 2001, consisted of an event like no other. On that very day, 20 years ago, five hijackers crashed American Airlines Flight 11 into the World Trade Center's North Tower, another five hijackers crashed United Airlines Flight 175 into the South Tower, another group flew American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon, and a fourth flight, United Airlines Flight 93, believed to crash into the white house, crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, after passengers fought the four hijackers of the plane. These four events were a part of a terrorist attack of retaliation, financed by the Qaeda terrorist organization for America's support of Israel, which led to over 2,900 lives to be taken. Along with that, many people had to worry whether they would see their loved ones again, firefighters risked their lives to save others, and many New Yorkers had to go through a day they would never forget just for one terrorist's decision to commit this action. Twenty years later, it is 2021. Many are sure an event like this has the possibility to happen again and that the terrorist acts aren't over. Though some could say that's just willful thinking, there are a number of reasons why a 9/11 type event couldn't possibly happen again.
