A Wish, For A Prince. (An Actual Kiribaku Story)

"Once upon a time, in a far away land, A wizard lived with forest hand in hand. Although the creatures of wood and leaf, were of great company, The wizard was still very lonely. He wanted a person to sit with him in his little meadow. Someone who will be his friend, and talk to him. So the wizard scoured the land looking for such a person. The wizard searched and searched but only found the world to be a cruel place outside of his meadow. On his way home he stopped at a town. He stood high ground and announced to the village, "If ever one comes, with nothing short of pure, true intentions, and a good heart, I shall grant them one wish! To find me you must first enter the forest, and travel past The lucky green shoe! Then past the trunk that falls, and towards a cave of dragons! Don't play in the dragon's den! Only by deciphering these directions may you find me!" The wizard walked away and no one followed. No one believed him. but word spread quickly, and soon everyone was after the wizard's wish. Some say people are still looking, but most don't even think that the wizard exist, others think it was a scam, but if it were to be true, the wizard could be waiting, for someone like you."

This is the story my mom read to me as a kid. It's a child's story, folk lore. It's not real. Well.. That's what people think. You may find it childish, but I really believe there is a wizard out there, and he's waiting for me to come and get him. I can't say that I am 'Pure' since I've been nothing but a brat my whole life, but I can say I have true and good intentions. Mom plans to 'fix' things by partnering with other kingdoms. I'm going to be the first to decipher the directions in this book, and I'm going to take these directions all the way to that meadow! All by myself! First I escape with a light load, then I need to get a map. I get out into the world for the first time, and have come to a realization. I don't know how to read a map.
