This fic was written back before there were any sequels to Pirates of the Caribbean, so it ignores the continuity after the first one.

Flames will be laughed at, scorned, and otherwise saved to be made fun of at a later time whenever Jack the Monkey decides to play with the evil rainbow-colored plot bunnies again. He nearly lost Carina when he attempted to save his father, but he made a promise to save him. Shortly after Jack is rescued, Will and Carina's reason is revealed: they just wanted to save Bootstrap. Sao Feng fancies Carina and takes her with him, claiming that she is his long lost love. Will rises to power and turns to save Carina. With Sao Feng dead and Carina now a pirate lord, she leads the Brethren Court into battle. Will and Carina realize that they won't make it out of battle and Will tells her how much he loves her. Davy Jones then realizes they are in love and stabs Carina. As she is dying, Carina reveals that she is pregnant with Will's child. Will now really has to save Carina in order to save her and the child she is carrying. Will Jack and Will save Carina and the child? Or will they both be doomed against their fate...Complete
