"Surrender yourself, Blade. The whole place is surrounded and you have nowhere to go." He spoke sternly, his gun gripped in his hands by his sides.
"You're throwing our beautiful nights away like that, Joey?" I smiled at him, standing up as all the guns clicked.
I walked over to the coffee table, placing the knife down with the rest of the collection then walked back towards the man that's been haunting my dreams for a while.
"I'm sure you thought of it as only a mission." He spoke softly, his eyes boring into my soul. I tilted my head a bit, that same smile on my face as I stood two feet away from him.
"Weren't my tears enough proof that it wasn't just a mission to me, darling? Or the way I refused to kill you instantly?"
