Divergent
Paeniteo: to regret, to repent, to be sorry Eric Coulter wasn't always cold. At one point... everything was different. But the loss of his mother and younger sister by a divergent seeking out to kill all erudites studying and testing for divergence, leaves him changed forever. Being cruel and intimidating to others covered up how insignificant and weak he felt instead. The loss of his family, all he has left- leaves him empty; and he doesn't care about filling the gaping, obvious hole left behind with anything but a stone cold demeanor. Ariel Somner wasn't always so quiet. But an accident causing the loss of her bestfriend she watched happen at just 9 years old, leaves her more emotionally damaged then ever. It was easier to just not talk to anyone at all, instead of care for someone else, and then lose them too. She transfers to dauntless, in hopes that it will toughen herup; so she never has to experience what happened 9 years ago. However, a similar face is met with her there, and she can't quite pin point it yet. However when she does, it leaves her wondering if she should have ever put much thought in to recognizing him, because the older boy she knew before was gone, and in place a cold leader with seemingly no more emotions left. Her sweet, innocent personality leads Eric feeling as if he is poison for her. Ariel's bold personality unapologetically makes strides towards love with Eric, but Eric's stubborn hot head clashes hers. The question is, will predetermined fate or love win?

COMPLETED (EDIT: In the process of being rewritten! Some of the writing might have you cringing! New chapters will be uploaded once they're all edited and written!) Meet Olivia, she's from Amity. You may think that everyone is Amity is just the happiest people in the world, right? Well, you're wrong. Not everyone at least. When Olivia transfers to Dauntless, where her sister transferred, no one could really figure out why. But will her past from Amity follow her? Haunt her, even? What about a certain Dauntless leader that seems to like her? "Training is over for today, everyone out!" Eric roars and as I'm about to walk through the door, I hear his cold voice yet again, "Not you Via, you stay," The others flood out and I stay planted near the door, he slowly stalks towards me and I find myself walking backward until I've hit the door behind me, I slightly jump from shock and let out yet another shaky sigh, he puts both of his arms beside my head, easily towering over me. "I'm going to break you," he starts, speaking darkly as he looks directly into my eyes, "I'm not sure how, but I will, and I'm going too," "You can't break something that's already been broken by someone else," I whisper, barely audible but I know he hears it. "Who could have possibly broken you? You lived in Amity, Baby doll," he snarls, and I push him out of the way with my shoulder. I walked out of there. (As of 3/28/2019) #1 in Divergent-12.7 stories. (Best) (THIS STORY TALKS ABOUT SOME MATURE THINGS THAT MAY TRIGGER SOME PEOPLE.) I do not own Divergent, I do not own the original Divergent characters, but I do own my characters. (ABSOLUTE AMAZING COVER BY THE TALENTED @Mariana_Colon )
