3 years after the events of Origami King, The Origami Craftsman brought Olly and Olivia back to life.
A year and a half has gone by since then, as the two siblings have integrated into society with their own kingdom on the outskirts.
As things start to become a little too peaceful for the Paper World, the populations of the several kingdoms begin to have constant nightmares. Willing to find the source of said nightmares, Olivia teams up with Tippi, an old ally of Mario, to dive through the Dream World.
