After losing many great Huntsmen and Huntresses Salem, Ozpin had an idea and with the help of General Ironwood, he wanted to give those brave Huntsmen and Huntresses who have fallen a second chance, a second life. But after an incident that killed almost all the staff working on the project, Ozpin decided that he should not be the one to meddle with the balance of life and death, ultimately deciding to shutting down the project for good and agreeing to never disclose anything that happened here to the public.

But General Ironwood was against this idea, he saw the potential of these reincarnated souls to be turned into the perfect soldiers to fight Salem's army of Grimm, so he decided to continue the experiments behind Ozpin's back, but without Ozpin's knowledge, this won't be an easy task.

Year's later we see you, (Y/N), the first "successful" test subject after years of testing and dozens of failed experiments...

Salem (before turning to Grimm) didn't agree to him and want to stop him. She tried to defeat him but failed, and the world went down to history to now. Since then she tries everything to bring hope into the world. Adam is childhood friend; Neo is the same. Beacon is Ozpin trying to make an army of huntsmen and huntresses that obey him. Not only did doing so regenerate any dealt wounds, but also allowed it to convert it into dark and destructive energy. Even though The Grimm Hunter was a creature of darkness itself, it also slaughtered Grimm with the same level of ferocity it showed Humanity. However, just as it seemed The Grimm Hunter would eradicate all of Humanity, it vanished without a trace. Not many know what happened to it but the legend speculates that a squadron of Silver-Eyed Warriors defeated it. But, that's not the truth, now is it? As he's kidnapped, he finds something very old and he becomes someone else completely; an Assassin.
