Her dad is dead, and 17-year-old Jordie Knightly is the only one who can decipher the scientific journals about his (less than legal) work in bioterrorism. His former employer, ScaryBusiness INC, is very insistent that she translate them, but there's just one problem; the journals are nothing but ash. With an impossible task in front of her and her own life on the line, Jordie has no other option but to run and never look back.
Resident troublemaker Bodhan Arroyo is next in line to receive the Nanshan throne. But before he can resume his princely responsibilities, his father forces him to teach a self-defense class as a sort of community service to get closer to the people he will one day rule, and to hopefully gain a sense of responsibility.
As the pressure closes in, these two worlds combine, and neither one remains unchanged.

My Mother Runs With Wolves

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
