So this is a story I wrote about a girl named Nova. She lives in a world where everyone has a supernatural power. Nova is 13, and if a person's power doesn't show by the time they're 14, they're given to the Government to either be tested or killed. The Government basically makes all the decisions for the whole country. So, Nova's 13, and she still hasn't discovered her powers. When her birthday comes, she still has no power. She can either be sent to the Government, for either testing or death, or she can risk her life running away. I created this story, I created these characters, the characters and the plot are mine. This story is written in first person (using I, we, us, etc.) Also, this is going to be my story for the #justwriteit challenge Also, the idea for this story was given to me by one of my best friends, @minewtlover14

Nova is a girl who has been bullied for not being normal, and as a result tries her best to be "normal". This ends up pushing the people she cares about away, and she uncovers something new about herself that she hates. ------- Normal. What does it mean to be normal? Other people always seem to know what it means to be normal, but I can never figure it out. "Why can't you just be normal?" Those six words ring over and over and over again in my head every single day of my life. It feels like every part of me is being ripped apart piece by piece whenever I hear those words in my head, and I don't know how to make it stop. What is so wrong about my life, that tears run down my cheeks every single night? What is so wrong about me. ⚠️This story contains abuse, self harm, homophobia(I think, I haven't read this in a while), and bullying. If you are not comfortable with any of these topics, please don't read.⚠️

If you had the power to help the other and didn't take it does that make you a bad person? If you had one chance to correct the world would you take it? If you were given one power what would it be? No matter what choice you make it will come haunting back to you. The good the bad there's a fine line between what people perceive as good and bad it's up to you to decide that.
