Após ser enviado para uma cidade pacata, o renomado investigador de polícia, Frederico Tusana, ao revirar alguns boletins de ocorrência antigos, se depara com dois casos misteriosos que aterrorizou todos os moradores de Serebella a vinte anos atrás: uma mulher encontrada enforcada em uma casa abandonada e um massacre no cinema. Ambos os casos foram arquivados e, com o passar dos anos, visto como um folclore regional. Mas, instigado com a falta de um desfecho, o investigador Tusana decide reativar os casos e ir atrás de mais informações. 
O que deveria ser apenas o desfecho de dois casos misteriosos, torna-se o inicio de algo muito mais profundo.
