Years ago, after a mission in Budapest, Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton had to hide out in an air vent for ten days from Hungarian Authorities. As day four came around, they ran out of things to occupy them, until they found something more... Interesting to do...

A few months later, Natasha started feeling sick, she thought nothing of it but Bruce convinced her to let him do some tests just in case. When she was in the Red Room, she was sterilized so that she could never have kids, so she never thought the pregnancy test would come back positive.

She and Clint both decided that the best thing to do would be to give the baby up for adoption since if anyone found out that she was the daughter of Black Widow and Hawkeye, she would be a target from the moment she was born. They named her Kira since It was Russian and meant both Leader Of The People and Beloved.

One day, when Kira was three, she was taken from the orphanage she was put in and taken into a program like the Red Room, but much worse. She stayed there for years, enduring tests, torture, and going on missions.
