Death used to be swift, Heaven's a shadow of former glory, Life used to be awe inspiring, now there is nothing to be proud of besides the ashes the fire left behind. Hell, a ravenous landscape full of demons and tormented souls now seemed empty and almost lost. Even the Grim Reapers suffered many losses, too many, which was the reason they separated themselves from the Courts. They refused to be apart of their nonsense of rules and guidelines. Even though the Courts; Life, Death, Heaven, and Hell have come far from what they were after the War, the Grim Reapers have yet to be able to the trust them fully. They may feel obligated to follow their rules, but not all of them do. One dares not to turn a blind eye their shenanigans, he dares to say no to their childish demands, he dares to break every single rule they have laid down with a smile on his face. But what does free will cost? What will his cost when he refused to claim an Apprentice? But what happens when a Court steps over their boundaries? Will he risk war? Will he risk his own people? Will his risk himself?
