Lost and abandoned by the only family he's ever known, a young artist takes to the streets of New York to make a living. Struggling with power he can't control or understand, his only means of coping is through art. His art piques the interest of the friendly neighborhood nobody Peter Parker on the day he suffers an episode that brings him face to face with darkness.

After his encounter with the strange artist, Peter begins to question just what is possible. A question soon met with answers that change him to the core forever. It leaves a scar. With no one left to turn to, he seeks out the stranger for help. What he finds instead is a purpose.

Bound by purpose and an irresistible connection the 2 boys must become heroes. Or else their world-and quite possibly all worlds-will fall to darkness.
