Princess Elora Belmont is soon to be the new Queen of Faevaras and shall take the throne by marrying a prince from another Kingdom, to rule alongside her. But as things get heated within the kingdom her father assigns her her own personal guard to protect her and be at her side at all times, despite her disagreement.

Carter Aldrich is one of the top ranks and one of the most respected people in the Knights of Faevaras, he had been assigned to be Princess Elora's personal guard although he would rather continue his job as a commander. While trying to keep things professional he still tries to make the best out of the situation and try to entertain the princess at least.

But what happens when Elora ends up falling for her own personal guard Carter instead of the prince she was supposed to marry?
