What happens when death becomes impossible?

Nineteen-year-old Shinji Kazuhiko's life shattered the night a masked killer invaded his home. Left for dead, he made a horrifying discovery: he cannot die. And with each death, something inside him grows stronger.

He is the Trascender-a being of ancient prophecy that has remained hidden for millennia. Now cosmic forces beyond imagination hunt him across realities, wielding power that can unmake entire worlds with a thought. To survive, Shinji must unlock abilities he never knew existed while questioning what it truly means to be human and what could the truth really be.

From alien planets where death lurks behind every shadow, to arenas where the fate of civilizations hangs in the balance, Shinji's journey will push him to limits he never imagined. But in a universe where gods walk among mortals and primordial entities stir in the void, power always comes with a price.

And some prices are more terrible than death itself.

Can one young man's refusal to stay down change the fate of existence? Or will the very power meant to save him become his ultimate curse?

The Fourth Gust is rising. The cosmos will never be the same.

I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain. How do you get rid of the biggest part of you? How do you ignore the call of something so beautiful yet so deadly? How do you resist the darkness that's been living, growing and thriving within you even before you were born? How do you turn down the only chance to get all the answers you desire, even if it leads you down a path of chaos, horror, and madness? A path others have fought for you not to tread. But why fight at all? Why fight a fire that only burns brighter? "Listen, you can choose not to believe this. But I've been where you are, I've felt what you feel." I opened my mouth to snap back, but he continued, his voice more broken that I'd ever heard it. "Don't ask me how I know - all I know is I don't want to hurt you. I don't want a throne. I just... I just want you to be okay. I can't... I can't lose you too." His eyes held sincerity that should've filled me with guilt. Pain that should've made me reach for him. Something more that should've made my heart ache. But none affected me. Not anymore. I smiled, my voice a whisper as I spoke. "What makes you think I care about you losing me... when I don't even care if I lose myself?" The others may be trying to douse the fire but I'd rather let it burn. Burn until it consumed us all.
