Happy father's day

Fathers hold their children in their arms
And wake up every morning to their alarms.
To keep a roof over their young heads
And lay them softly into bed.
That's what fathers do.

Fathers teach their children not to be afraid
And make sure they do behave.
They read them stories every night
And fill their hearts with delight.
That's what fathers do.

Fathers love their children more than gold
And guides them in a world that can be cold.
Fathers can be protective,
But I know it's because they care.
My daddy is like a big soft teddy bear.
That's what fathers do.

Fathers hold their children's dreams
Until their big enough to let them gleam.
And when it's time for the children to leave the nest,
He'll wish them all the very best.
That's what fathers do.

Happy Father's Day daddy!
I love you
