She was the love of his life before the world went to shit, she made him forget his terrible past and made him a good person. she taught him things that he never knew and he taught her in return. Her brothers always approved of Daryl and Merle never liked anyone but he liked The MacManus Family.

the day before everything went to shit, Eden MacManus was on her was to Atlanta with her brothers to visit an old friend of theirs. She promised Daryl she would come back but when he heard about Atlanta being filled with walkers, he gives up hope of ever seeing her again.

Merle listens to Daryl cry at night over Eden and he himself couldn't help by cry when he thought she was gone, she was like a sister to him, she protected Daryl and loved him maybe even more than Merle himself.

when Rick Grimes finds a girl on the side of the road while going out searching for Hershel, he brings her back and neither Daryl nor Merle expect who stood in front of them.
