Year 3015, the world is far advanced, we have the power of electronics at our will. In the Old days, you had to pay to remodel your home, now with a click of a switch you can live in a Urban Home, a palace, or a cabin in the middle of the woods. The 'government' does not want certain people influencing society. They do not want people to become too powerful, to have too many opinions, to question what the world has come by. So they created Alia, a system that can detect if you are thinking or feeling anything other than the normal; work, school, family, limited fun. People get scanned on random, and everyone gets scan every seven months. The people who are not perfect undergo treatment, and then they are 'back to normal'. There are certain people who can get away with this scan, and who bypass the whole Alia system, these people are Brain Locked and they pose a threat to everything the new society built. After years of people working on the system, making it just the way they want. These people are the powerful people who can wake society up or tear it far worse than the Alia System. In the future, science has found a way to re-animate the dead and make them pliant servants for the wealthy. They buy the units for 10,000 for a base model. More attractive units sell higher as well as the more physically fit the model is the higher the price. The units are used for anything and everything their owner wants, from household work to administrative duties, to even being sexual companions. They are each programmed with a hard drive in their brain that works like a computer and allows them to have a quick mind and agility, as well as nano machines in their body to repair any damage that can occur with normal usage. There are some people who still view the units as a dead body and have trouble interacting with them in their daily life. But most of the population is too poor to even afford one so this problem is left to the upper classes that can buy the units. For some, poverty is worse than death. For one Porcelyn, death is just the start.
