Rhiannon Shirley's plans were simple. Leave Massachusetts, study at Hogwarts, maybe crash a few parties while she's there, and be on with her next adventure. What might change when she meets a certain bookish girl with a peculiar interest towards the 1800s? Straight hair, straight a's, straightforward straight girl. Hermione Granger fit that description to the T, minus the straight hair of course. She stayed in her quiet little box, set on her life path. Might Rhiannon's arrival shake that? Will she be able to handle the inner turmoil that comes with questioning your identity? And will Hermione's own issues become too much for Rhiannon to handle- "No girl had ever looked at me like Rhi did. As a matter of fact, it seemed as though no one had ever seen me at all like she did. She looked past me, into my very soul, and loved me completely for it. I'd always be thankful to her for that, and could only hope she knew I felt the same, if not more."

"You're a good friend, Hermione." She narrowed her eyes at him. "So we're on a first-name basis now?" He shrugged. "I feel it's only fair after spending every moment of our free time in a lab together. Also," he scratched at his chin in thought, "I'm pretty sure you're dating my best mate."
