Pandora's Vault / Box / Jar (A Dream SMP and Reader Fan-Fiction)
(A/N: This is a story with reader input in the form of the character (Y/N), who will be given the pronouns they/them so nobody feels left out, the dream SMP is real (not just a Minecraft server) and this story involves: Greek mythology, violence, romance, breaking of the fourth wall. If you're not comfortable with any of this, I recommend you do not read this. You can still do so, but then please don't be mad at me, since you just now have been warned.) -------------------- Months? Years? They truly couldn't tell anymore. The four walls of their cell looked all the same, and sometimes those walls would be the ceiling or the floor, and not even that could surprise (Y/N) anymore. This prison was quite lonely as well, and that wasn't even the worst part about it. The worst part was the cold reality of everything (Y/N) had done to get here. The bottom of the barrel - the worst scum one could become, that's what they were, and they knew it. But they would endure it until they died. They would sit here until their unavoidable demise, and they would do it for him. Just to see their best friend's face again. Maybe not in this life, but hopefully in another. Dream is locked in Pandora's Vault for his crimes, the most secure prison on the Smp. The guards torture him and treat him inhumanely He can't escape, unless... he has some outside help. Everything changes when he meets the new guard, Y/N. She's unlike the other guards and he grows close to her. But as a prisoner and a guard, their relationship can't stay together in the prison. What about outside the prison? But as their relationship grows, problems arise. Dream and Y/N must choose: Be the heroes and save everyone? Monsters don't deserve hugs, but you aren't a monster
Sam is the warden, he swore to protect everyone on the server from the monster inside the vault. But with each Quackity's visit it's harder and harder to see the lone prisoner as a monster. And Sam founds himself wondering. Is the real monster the one inside the box or the one he let's in? George can't sleep. His dreams that once comfort him are now only painful reminders of what he lost. And when he once again founds himself before Pandora's vault he decides to step in. He wasn't ready for what he founds. Dream is hurting. He's been for months. Or at least he thinks so, he lost sense of time long ago. He can't remember the sun anymore, he can barely remember the faces of his once friends that he lost. So when George appears in his cell he brushes it of as another hallucination. Lonely and tormented, Dream finds himself falling for the warden who has looked after him for so long. When Sam saves Dream from dying in a particularly horrendous torture session, Dream becomes more convinced than ever that Sam loves him too. Now he just has to encourage his beloved warden to admit it. Fic is about characters, not content creators.
