Jamie and Tiffany were best friends once, a long time ago. In a kingdom of complete peace and stillness, Tiffany dreams of adventure. All Jamie ever wanted was a home and a steady job and a wife that he hoped would be Tiffany. But life had other plans for the pair. When the governing force of the kingdom, the Guardians of Solarium, find out that Jamie had the potential to become an extremely powerful wizard, he gets whisked away to the school of Tyvernia, a fate that he didn't want. Tiffany, on the other hand, has to watch her best friend live her dream, and terminates their friendship. But when Tiffany is attacked by Centaurs, the first act of violence in Solarium for a hundred years, the world that they knew vanishes before their eyes.
