Husky/Lab Mix Whisper attends a school that has occupants that despise mutts. She has a mother who is distant from her when she turns a month of age and a loving father who is a caring and devoted father. Her life changes when a tragedy hits her family when she becomes older. And she befriends Beau, a shepherd mix,  Balto, a border collie, Meeka, also a mutt, her brother, Sarid, and Lady and forms a small pack with the small gang.
