Blessing in disguise

She felt bad for him. Pity. Ashamed of her past
Ache for what she'd done to him. And most of all she'd not been forgiving herself for it, a hard past for the both of them.
And him? He tortured himself with images of them two together , but he forgave her. He fought with the thought of hating her because, truth is , he couldn't. He loved her too much but he was giving it away.
