Dean is missing, but Dean is dead. Sam and Castiel now have to search for their brother and friend, even if he doesn't want to be found, and be prepared for what they find, and the dangers of looking.
This is my idea of what could have happened in season 10 of Supernatural. I hope you enjoy!

The Winter Storm (Destiel AU)
When Winter Graham moves to South Dakota with Sam, Dean, and Bobby, she finds out her distant friends aren't all that they seem. They're hunters of the supernatural, and now she is too. The brothers are stationary, staying at Bobby's, which means they have to go to high school. In Math class, Winter notices Dean has a particular interest in a guy named Castiel Novak, so she takes matters into her own hands, juggling hunting, homework, and a relationship that isn't even her own. Things work out just fine until an awry incident causes Dean and Cas to go missing after school one day. Soon after, a life-threatening trade may just cause Winter her life, but maybe it's worth it. This story involves Teen!Cas and Teen!Dean, so I suppose you could call it a high-school AU. The story is under major construction, so some parts are going to be a little jagged until i can go back and edit them. It's non-slash, but more on the fluffy side.
