Wendy wasn't outgoing unless it involved business. She was the younger girl version of her father. Her mother was gone leaving her with her good-hearted but drunkard dad.

When her father is taking by the police because of unpaid debt, she's left with nothing. Sixteen and alone. She hides herself by running off in hopes of finding a new life elsewhere. A fugitive was what she was now, no one wants a fugitive.

Unfortunately, Fate has other plans for Travis and Wendy.
